Mount Luč (933 m.n.m. )

is a quiet corner of the Šumava region, hidden between Volary and Lenora. It offers peace, beautiful views of the surrounding forests and a typical Šumava atmosphere. The path to the summit follows an easy route and is ideal for hiking as well as relaxing in nature.

Plešné lake

is one of the most picturesque places in the Šumava region. It lies below Mount Plechý at an altitude of 1089m and was formed during the Ice Age as a typical glacial lake.

Its dark surface, surrounded by rocks and spurce forest, creates a calm and mysterious atmosphere.

Devil’s Wall

is a natural rock formation above the Vltava river valley near Loučovice. It is formed by massive granite boulders which, according to legend, were piled up by the devil himself to block the river.

Today, this area is part of a national nature reserve that protects unique rock formations, scree forests and rare plant species.

Our Lady of Sorrows Church

is a pilgrimage church located on Dobrá Voda hill near Horní Planá, surrounded by peaceful nature and offering beautiful views of the Šumava landscape.

According to legend, the place is connected to a healing spring. People believed the water had curative effects, and pilgrims began coming here to pray for help and healing. It was thanks to these pilgrimages that the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows was later built here.

The path to the church follows an easy route suitable for walkers and families with children. The walk is short and pleasant, making it ideal for relaxing trip in nature.
